The company was formed in 1992 with the intention of manufacturing and distributing telephone based entrance systems. We attained British Approvals Board for Telecommunications approval in June 1994 for our original Telguard product.The reason behind the inception of the company was to make door and gate entry more affordable and reliable by utilising the well established global communications network.

We have gone from being able to provide just one type of system with limited facilities to being able to offer a complete range of systems to complement almost any project. Our ethos is that if we do not have exactly what you want available then we can bespoke almost any colour, shape and size of any panel.

Engineers have the luxury of being able to speak directly to our research and development team to discuss any problems they might face at an installation, or to provide us with input to assist us in providing systems that make installation quick and easy. We are constantly, thanks to this input from installation engineers and sales staff, reviewing and updating our systems to provide the most advanced and modern systems available on the market today.

In these testing times we need to be seen as an extension of every company that we supply as we are all working towards the same goal – to supply reliable and cost-effective solutions to the end user. The latest PCB we have to offer is a CANBUS based system called the HY-CAN.


This offers incredible flexibility and has been designed over the last two and a half years to be able to be as future-proof as possible. Along with the HY-CAN will be an applications program to simplify the setup of each panel by the installer so it is now possible for every installer to program the TelGuard system. The GSM range has proven itself to be a system of the highest quality and reliability but still we are able to improve on that and the next generation of GSM systems to be launched later this year will mirror the programming facilities and functionality of the HY-CAN analogue range.

In these trying times we need to assist in environmental issues which we do by designing systems which can be diagnosed remotely and so reducing site visits and also by making as much information available as possible electronically. Our e-brochure is made available to our customer base to reduce paper and to reduce the need for storage.
